Rainbow Plate programs and resources engage children and youth with real food in an innovative way that is evidence-based, simple and fun. Food provides much more than just nourishment. Positive relationships flourish in the context of shared meals, and food has long been a vehicle for bringing people together; for promoting community, and for breaking down barriers between diverse individuals. The development of food literacy skills leads to self-sufficiency, resilience and independence, and also to increased self-esteem for at-risk youth.

  • Have you witnessed kids in your care reject new or healthy foods?
  • Do you want help with supporting your kids to develop healthy eating habits?
  • Are your own food issues getting in the way of real health for your family?

Rainbow Plate is here to support you. We have designed a multi-level approach to encouraging children as young as two right up to teens – and all the adults that influence them – to develop their own healthy eating habits.
