It’s safe to say that ‘food’ is at the centre of Hope’s universe. When she’s not eating it, sniffing it out, gathering it, cooking with it, sharing it, she’s teaching about it.

Before Rainbow Plate, Hope started a bar/restaurant in a small village in Laos, founded a kids cooking camp in PEI, authored a kids cooking curriculum in Bangkok and helped to build the leading kids catering company in the GTA from ground zero to 10K kids a day. Lets just say she has a knack for finding the pulse of something and then amplifying it

Hope gets more excited by red cabbage than red soled dress shoes and is a master at building memorable culture and brands from inception to success.

Open and enthusiastic, Liane is definitely a ‘yellow’ personality. Her creative chops, kitchen savvy and kid wrangling all help to build rainbows and facilitate kid workshops for Rainbow Plate. Apart from being one of our Rainbow Ambassadors, Liane’s other hat is running her holistic nutritionist practice to helps people empower themselves by finding a way of eating that works.

Bold, bright, confident and uplifting, the colour orange suits Aaron perfectly. He warms up the room with his caring personality and sharp wit, and keeps us fed with his fridge whispering skills (although having an orange in your kitchen may not lead to weight-loss success). A mark of a true orange is keen instincts, and Aaron’s work with our communications strategies has shown he lives up to his colour. Even though oranges tend to desire centre-stage, Aaron is always there to lend a helping hand with kindness and patience.

Melis Mevlutoglu is a blue video intern at Rainbow Plate.  She is always looking to have a genuine connection with those surrounding her which makes her a perfect member of the Rainbow Team.  Melis is currently completing her Bachelor of Journalism degree at Humber College and is a part-time staff member at GoodLife Fitness. For Melis, the best part about working at Rainbow Plate is that she is constantly in a creative zone.

Trevor is brown. Subtle but rich, and serves to enhance those around. Trevor is a video intern at Rainbow Plate – he films, writes, produces and edits video content for Rainbow Plate’s website and social media. He has a educational background in video production at Ryerson’s RTA School of Media, as well as Journalism and Sheridan’s Print Journalism program. In addition to that, Trevor has many years experience in the health food industry as a manager and product buyer for retail. He fondly recalls the images of children showing crazed excitement about exploring food that he was able to capture on camera.
